ElevenLabsVoice, SFX and music generator

One account covers dialogue, sound effects and music, mostly as files you generate ahead of time. Inworld is an API for live in-game speech; Gridly is a localisation platform, not a voice generator.

Best for: Recorded VO, placeholder and final dialogue, barks, localised lines and quick SFX or music during production.

MurekaPrompt-to-song generator with API

Like Suno it writes full vocal songs, but adds a documented API (song, instrumental, extend, stems, vocal clone) and music-video generation. AIVA outputs editable instrumental MIDI scores.

Best for: Vocal songs, title themes and in-world radio tracks, or batch song generation through the API.

Workflow

ElevenLabs

Mureka

Where you use it

Web app (ElevenCreative), REST API, Python and TypeScript SDKs, CLI; ElevenAgents builder with React, Swift, Kotlin and WebSocket SDKs.

Web app, mobile app, Studio, Mureka Co desktop DAW helper, and a developer API.

You give it

Script text, a library voice, audio samples to clone a voice, a text description to design one, text prompts for SFX and music, or video.

Style prompt, your lyrics or generated lyrics, reference audio (Pro), your voice or humming, a photo plus voice sample for a singer, video or image to score.

You get

Speech as MP3, PCM or Opus, streamable with timestamps; multi-speaker dialogue; SFX up to 30 s, loopable; songs 3 s to 5 min, vocal or instrumental.

Songs with vocals or instrumentals; MP3, WAV and stems on Pro, MIDI and chord sheets; MP4 music videos.

How you steer it

Pick a model (v4 expressive, v4 Turbo/Flash fast), emotion audio tags, clone, design or remix voices; SFX length and prompt strength; music composition plans.

Genre, mood, tempo and instruments in the prompt, vocal or instrumental, melodic complexity, voice cloning, choice of models (V9.5 latest).

How you refine results

Regenerate lines, choose from three voice-design previews, remix a voice by prompt, regenerate or re-lyric one section of a song, assemble long projects in Studio.

Region editing, extend, Remix (style, vocals, structure), local replacement, Studio track editing, MV Director shot regeneration.

Pick ElevenLabs if you want

  • SFX: organic and environmental sounds, several variations per prompt (StraySpark)
  • Eleven Music mid-table on both AA blind-vote boards

Watch out: SFX: UI and tonal sounds inconsistent; edge artefacts on short percussive clips (StraySpark); Music: each newer Eleven Music version scores no better than v1 on AA instrumental

Pick Mureka if you want

  • Game music with stems and MIDI export on a paid plan

Game music with stems and MIDI export on a paid plan
What it does
Text-to-speech, voices, sound effects and music generation; usable for NPC voice lines and SFX.
AI music generator (Skywork AI) for full songs and instrumentals, with reference-track generation, remixing, stem splitting and a self-serve music API.
Verdict
For NPC voice lines and SFX; free-plan output is non-commercial, so a paid plan is required to ship.
For game soundtracks and menu music with stems and MIDI on Premier; commercial rights need a paid plan, and they also cover songs you made before upgrading.
