Seedance (Dreamina) ranks higher in Trailers & marketing (#1 vs #5). How we score
How they differ
How each one works, from its own docs.
Stands out for HDR/EXR output and keyframe- and performance-driven video-to-video for compositing. Runway is the closest suite rival. Kling and Seedance lead on native audio and longer clips.
Best for: Restyling gameplay capture or mocap into trailer shots, and making HDR plates to composite in the edit.
Uses very large reference sets to keep characters, style and sound consistent across long multi-shot clips. Kling and Flow take fewer references. Runway and Luma host Seedance as one model among many.
Best for: Turning character sheets, key art and voice-over into 15–30 second trailer or ad cuts with consistent characters.

- Analytics Vidhya: I tried the new Ray3 AI video maker Hands-on with four prompts plus image-to-video. The best clip was high quality and followed lighting details, and image animation worked well. Other clips showed objects morphing or vanishing, shaky motion and weak handling of unusual concepts. The verdict was impressive but far from ideal.

- YouTube: Dan Kuda AI, 'I Tested 3 AI Video Generators: Which Keeps Character Consistency?' Seedance 2.0 won clearly: dynamic scenes, natural motion and the character locked across every clip. Downsides: slowest (about 15 min per clip in explore mode), about 3x Kling's credit cost, and only 720p output needing an upscale per clip.
- YouTube: Ans, 'I tested Seedance 2.0 vs Kling 3.0 vs VEO 3.1' Seedance 2.0 won almost every one of 10 prompts (action, multi-cut dialogue with lip sync, emotion close-ups, prop interaction). Flaws: one clip with three hands, and a New York drone prompt came out looking like a Chinese city.
