MotifDeck

Is it right for you?

Best for2D characters and their sprite animations

2D indie game art: a character, matching props and scenes, and its move set exported as sprite sheets.

For 2D devs who want a character, its props and scenes, and a set of animations with sprite frames they pick themselves. Downloads need a paid plan, and MotifDeck marks its terms and asset licence as drafts.

How it works

What's different: Keeps one approved character at the centre of its props, scenes and animations, and animates it from a continuous motion clip whose frames you choose afterwards. PixelLab builds animations from text or skeleton poses; Retro Diffusion locks output to pixel grids and palettes.

Where you use it
